  Job Title: Early Childhood Development Training Coordinator  GRANT: Mercy Corps  Start Date: ASAP End Date : 15th July 2013  Scope of Work:  -Assist in developing the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Training Curriculum -Help design and deliver training-of-trainers curriculum to ECD Trainers -Manage team of 6 ECD Trainers to deliver ECD training to mothers of children under 5 years old throughout Gaza -Provide on the job supervision to ECD Trainers during initial training -Monitor trainee feedback and trainer performance and amend training model and curriculum appropriately -Manage training schedule for ECD trainers -Work with project officer to identify trainees and inform them of training -Work with community based organizations to identify appropriate training venues -Ensure training venue is properly equipped to provide ECD training to mothers and children under 5 -Work with the ECD trainers to collect training feedback and training results -Work with ECD trainers to identify suitable female peer group leaders -Help to design peer group leader training -Ensure all monitoring and evaluation tools are appropriately used and information provided on a timely basis. -Liaise with project officer and logistics department to ensure all supplies for training are provided in a timely manner. -Other tasks as requested by your supervisor.  Deliverables: -ECD TOT Training, -ECD Training -ECD Peer Group Training -Management of 6 ECD trainers  Minimum Qualifications:  -Bachelor degree -At least 3 years of teaching or training in the field of mothers or children under 5 -Technical understanding of Child Psychology or Early Childhood Development. -Progressive experience in working with communities/women groups -Good English  Skills:  -Experience of working with mothers of young children -Experience in teaching/training/Facilitation -Flexibility and high motivation to learn -Strong commitment to working with mothers and children under 5  Other comments :  The ECD Training Coordinator will have a strong background teaching/training background with a strong understanding of early childhood development and child psychology. The ECD Trainer’s main role will be to oversee the ECD Trainers and ensure that the training is of a high quality and well received.   Job Title: Project Officer  GRANT:  Mercy Corps  Start Date:  ASAP  End Date :  15th July 2013  Scope of Work:  -Provide project management support to the Early Childhood Development Programme Manager. -Organize training schedules and plan all aspects of event delivery (e.g. training/workshops). -Monitor and maintain the project plan and indicator tracking matrix. -Maintain reporting schedule and ensure all reports are submitted on a timely basis. -Ensure project plans are monitored and maintained to reflect any program or scheduling changes.  -Be proactive in working with the finance and logistics department to provide timely requests and reports. -Ensure project ********s are complete, current, and stored appropriately. -Manage action and issues log, ensuring follow up of all minor problems through to satisfactory result. -Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Programme Manager. -Task the Data Entry Officer to ensure data is properly archived and filed. -Work with other stakeholders and partners to further the program’s success.  Deliverables:  -Maintain Project Plan -Manage Action Log -Maintain Indicator Tracking Matrix --Maintain issues log -Collect data and create mandatory reports  Minimum Qualifications:  -2 Years experience as project officer or project manager -Excellent ability with MS Word and MS Excel -Fluent English -Bachelors Degree  OTHER COMMENTS:  The Project Officer must have a good eye for detail and be able to see tasks right the way to full completion.
