NRC seeks Community Liaison Officer(Short term contract) in its office in Gaza strip
Job Purpose
The Community Liaison Officer is part of a small team responsible for beneficiary selection and facilitating beneficiary participation in shelter design for persons with disabilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
-Work closely with beneficiaries and community stakeholders
-Needs assessment, including the use of participatory approaches to identifying needs of vulnerable groups and individuals focusing on women, children and persons with disabilities
-Assistance and support beneficiaries to be involved with shelter design
-Prepare reports
Essential Experience:
-Working with persons with disabilities
-Beneficiary selection experience
Start date: October 2011
Contract period:3 months
Salary/benefits: According to NRC’s general directions pay commensurate with experience and benefits provided.
